TRAVEL AND LOGISTICS

Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the retreat.
Airport McGhee-Tyson Airport in Alcoa, TN, is the closest airport, with a distance to the cabin of approximately 29 miles.
Ground transportation to/from airport to the cabin Uber or other similar service is suggested (approximate cost $40-$50 from McGhee-Tyson). Taxis and car services are available but are generally much more expensive. There are no airport shuttles to cabins.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended in case you need to cancel because of a medical or other emergency.
IMPORTANT: Please BE SURE to bring any medications or other items for any health condition, as well as toiletries and other personal necessities. Remember, you are coming to the mountains! Everyday services are not readily accessible. There are no drugstores or retail or dining establishments within walking distance.
